  Stephen Ward - General Manager, MRS Europe
Steve is responsible for both the European Operation and Business Development within the region.
An experienced Engineer, he has considerable knowledge of mining and tunneling markets and the
application of communication technologies within. He is a qualified Electrical Engineer and has
over 25 years of experience in Mining and related industries. In addition, Steve has a Masters degree
in Business.

His previous experiences include product development and team management with Gullick Dobson,
a mining roofsupport manufacturer and technical management with Trolex, a supplier of monitoring
systems to both the mining and tunneling markets. Steve has also considerable experience in the
World-wide certification of products for underground mining, and has been a part of European
Certification committees (CENELEC) for standards.


Keith Bloomer - Senior Technical Representative
Keith started his career with a local two way radio dealer as a bench engineer testing and repairing
mobile & hand portable radio's, he then moved across to analogue cellular repair and later working in
the cellular after sales market training engineers, compiling test manuals and analyzing field failure rates
in the cellular market. He has also worked on paging and CDMA wireless systems.
 
Keith has been with MRS since October 2007 and has been involved in new systems in Iran, China,
Portugal and the UK.
Neil Wakefield - Project Manager
Neil is responsible for the Project Management of MRS’s UK and European regions.  With 22 years in
the telecommunications environment, he possesses a hard earned knowledge of implementing
communications systems in hazardous and difficult environments.  He has an honours degree in Leadership
and Management, is PRINCE2 practitioner qualified and is a member of the chartered management institute.  
 
He has worked globally in the telecommunications environment, working with the MoD as a Project Manager.  
His experience enables him to assist in the smooth running of projects, ensuring they are delivered to agreed
timelines, quality criteria and within specified budgets.
